Welcome to Watauga Orthopaedics! I would like to take this opportunity to tell you more about myself. I grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and I graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Memphis, Tennessee, with a doctor of medicine, in 1991. I completed my internship from Indiana University School of Medicine, and my Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the Indiana University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. I completed an additional Fellowship in Sports Medicine, and Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Foundation for Orthopaedic, Athletic and Reconstructive Research in Houston, Texas.

I am board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.

My goal is to treat my patients as I would my family. My practice includes the care and treatment of orthopaedic diseases and sports medicine injuries. I have a special interest in foot and ankle problems.

The frequency and impact of these diseases and injuries, combined with recent advances in their diagnosis and treatment, make orthopaedics a critical part of healthcare.
